Summer Breeze by Nancy Thayer

If, like me, you can't afford a summer vacation this year, you can live vicariously and enjoy a summer along Dragonfly Lake in Nancy Thayer's Summer Breeze. Natalie is an artist who's housesitting for her aunt and trying to give her career a jolt. Morgan is a scientist taking a break to raise her young son, but itching to get back to work. And Bella is a teacher who came home to help her mother out after she broke her leg and is now trying to decide what she wants to do with her life. There is lots of female bonding and there are plenty of romantic complications--in the form of Ben, Josh and Slade. It's all fluffy good fun, if that's what you're in the mood for.
